ILY Live Event Cancelled  :(

Bad news folks – the I Like You LIVE 1-minute storytelling event we were planning for next Thursday August 25th has been cancelled. We were ambitiously aiming for 60 storytellers, but with only a week to go before the event we have less than half that number, so we’re pulling the plug. We think the concept has a lot of potential though and we’re definitely going to do it justice in the future. Thanks so much to those who volunteered to tell a story and/or sent around our call for storytellers! We like you, a lot.

So what happens now?

Well, we know many of you put work into your stories and we don’t want that effort to go to waste. If you’re interested in having your story appear on our podcast you can email us a recording or leave it as a voicemail at 1-888-854-5337. We’re also looking for guests for the show – drop us a line if you have a longer story or experience that would work in that format.

We’d also like to invite you to an informal meet-up happening at the time the event was supposed to be held. JP and Elah will be drowning their sorrows at No One Writes to the Colonel starting at about 7pm on Thursday August 25th if you’d like to chat about storytelling, podcasting, or plans for our next run at this crazy concept.
