  1. Touching episode — so deep and personal! Bravo. Your mom rocks!

  2. Thank you, Sean – I’ll pass the compliment along to my mom!

  3. I really connected with this. I also feel like my looks could be improved but I was so incredibly inspired by the notion that Elah’s mum had that conclusion. It almost makes me wasting all sorts of time on the internet, or not being cool kind of neat. For me, Its like the notion of embracing what isn’t perfect. Which is really celebrating the diversity of living. That there was this other life for her, and because of her physical makeup, it allowed her to have a certain life that ended up in a way she appreciated.

Its dishearting to think that women still have to deal with these challenges. Equality is a long road, and lets hope gender equality is something that people continue to support so the direction of peoples lives isn’t entirely affected by the way their body is shaped.

Thanks for the excellent and complex podcast.
