Who’s the girl with the bright eyes?
You may have noticed that we use Drew Danburry’s “I’ll Only Believe In True Love If Micah Marries Camille” as our theme song about every second episode. We’re considering making it our official theme song, should we? Elah and I both like the song and think it’s a great fit, but there are concerns that it’s too long, that it’s heterosexist or that it’ll just be boring to hear every episode. What do you think? Bonus points for alternate theme song suggestions in the comments! (remember we need clearance from the artist)

If people vote against it I might have to reconsider my decision to use the same song every episode…but I’ve had no complaints so far.

I love the song. Please don’t take it away. Maybe because I’ve never heard that song before. I know but I love love love it. It totally fits the theme of your podcast.

i love the song! but I think you should just use the first minute and fade out after that (which is what you’ve done a coupla times already, yes?).

Agreed! The song stays in abridged format. I might occasionally be forced to dub “girl” over “boy” – it’s only natural.
