This week, JP and Elah learn how to catch a man.

Show notes:

  • David gives us a peek into the world of men dating men, with some unexpected results.
  • Cait offers us dating insights from insects, and explains why J-Date is the place to meet a husband – even if you’re not Jewish.
  • JP and Elah find their dream man, without even looking for him, but soon discover his fatal flaw…

  1. A great first date is one that you can have fun on regardless of the company. A comedy show is a good choice, because you know that you’ll probably have a good laugh at the very least. Plus, when people laugh their brains mimic the same signals of being in love, so maybe it will help spur on a romance. At least I think I read that somewhere…

  2. Hmm… I love live comedy (at least when it’s good) but it’s probably worth noting that it doesn’t provide that many opportunities to talk. That said, meeting up for pre-show drinks would solve that issue AND it’s a great opportunity to see if your senses of humour are compatible – very important for most people.

Also, I’m a little creeped out by the idea of fooling your body into thinking you’re in love through laughter… but overall I think a comedy show is a great first or second date idea, thanks!
